Hi, I'm Heleen

I'm a busy bee with lots of interests. I began my creative journey in 2015, starting with surrealistic photography and editing. Developing my skills and interests, I then continued to do all sorts of photography and studied to become a media designer.

I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2008, at age three. In 2022 I started Insuleen, an Instagram account where I post Diabetes related art. Using my platform to educate people on diabetes, based on mostly my own experience and knowledge I have over 2000 followers from all over the world.
